The $150 SPL Challenge

I saw an oldschool PPI amplifier at a pawnshop for $120. I was getting a quote on a new S&W pistol & didn't see the model #....they are a legit place, they fully test gear before they'll even offer a price on it, & you could probably get it for $100 bill.........
....it was about the size of an Art A1200 & looked like this one......

PPI PRECISION POWER 2050AM AMPLIFIER - eBay (item 290531342521 end time Feb-10-11 20:00:18 PST)
As per the rules, the price for used equipment is what it would cost if you were to purchase it NEW. This is to keep people from buying something used for $100 that cost $400 new.

So far I've found two almost perfect combos except one was $8 too much and the other was $10 too much. I think I've found something that'll kick azz though. Four 10s for $60 and a pair of 400w amps for $80.

WOW, I have been gone for the better half of a day and this took off again. LOL Good good..

As for the Reg cab trucks, You can build and keep everything behind the door jam(which is the front of the B pillar). Imagine taking a string from door to door. Said string can not touch any part of the sub stage(amps/subs/box blah blah)...should be fair enough.. As for everything else..I'm eating and i will be rereading it all and I will post up with more info as it is needed.

Whenver pro-rabbit makes his own thread, it gets 200+ replys lol
You have to consider the thread itself. This is one of the most interesting things to be on this side of the Dome. If this takes off like I'm hoping it could be a yearly deal with rule provisions between years and maybe spill over into the meets if applicable.

Obviously you've never worked on a regular cab S-10.

Absolutely no way I'll be able to fit anything of any significance in that space. Following db drag, MECA, and USACi rules, regular cab trucks are allowed to fit anything behind the seats as long as they lock in place.

I'm unable to decipher how you differentiated between the door jamb and the b-pillar. Technically they are the same thing. Perhaps a picture would help.

Tommy, how about you gotta be able to straighten out your legs while in the seat. lol.

Really though, I don't see it being a problem. So what if cabs or crxs will win. I'd give props to those doing good numbers in a trunk too even if they didnt win.

I can't straighten my legs out with the seat all the way back! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
