Honestly I might have to get a pair of those hifonics 12's off ebay for dirt cheap just because. Leaves me room for ~$100-110 for an amp which will actually give me a pretty good amount of power.

Outlaw should be pretty close. I'm debating on what setup I'd actually like to do now. 2 12's seems the best cost/cone area ratio, and leaves me money for decent power. But then I think about running one better, more efficient 12" and using less power.

There's actually more options than people think.

I saw an oldschool PPI amplifier at a pawnshop for $120. I was getting a quote on a new S&W pistol & didn't see the model #....they are a legit place, they fully test gear before they'll even offer a price on it, & you could probably get it for $100 bill.........

....it was about the size of an Art A1200 & looked like this one......
