Yes sir. Then a video of the run and all that fun stuff. I found THE amp I think that will rule the class haha. Now subs..who knows, but I got a good idea.

I have some very cheap subs I bought a few years ago that I have a receipt for and were available to everyone at the price I paid for a few months till they sold out...can I use those? They are Elemental Designs EHQS12's and I paid $87.41 for 4 shipped. I just want to use 2 at a cost of $43.70 shipped.

I'm thinking everyone should use the same amp then it will be down to the choice of woofer and mainly about the enclosure

also Kind of depends on if I decide on one sub or two. may have to pick a mono block.

I will check with my distributors later today and see if I can get them there. No way I can swallow ordering it from woofersetc.

While I love a good SPL competition, I foresee this thing turning into one big gripe fest when somebody does stupid numbers with crappy equipment.

It's a fun idea, but there's way too many gray areas to exploit, along with a LOT of advantages/disadvantages depending on the vehicle, equipment, knowledge, etc. and so forth.

I'm not saying this because I don't like the idea (I actually like it a lot), but in general there's always going to be a lot of complaints when a bunch of people get spanked by somebody that knows more and does more.

But, even after all that, I might be down for the outlaw class. No way I'm competing sealed up on the dash because I'll get smoked by everyone.

i agree with you...but itll be a fun little thing to try. And im interested in what changes make me louder. Itd be nice to learn from others too, if they post what they did. It be awesome to have someone like you do it too, since you really know what youre doing.

A pair of those cheap hifonics 12's and a decent hifonics amp off sonicelectronix will do it.

BTW, this challenge won't start for me till about late march/early april as the weather here is terrible.
