The man is a phenomenal speaker and has gotten people to believe just about anything lie he has told. He's almost as good as Hitler was. But in reality he is the most left wing politician on the planet, meaning his bipartisan talks were bullshit as we have seen unanimous votes against the democratic proposals time and again. His Senate voting for many years has proved this. Anyone who has 1/100th of a brain would have seen this coming a mile away. It just goes to prove how easily the masses can be manipulated by the liberal media and some idiot that promises the world and instead delivers debt. Soon enough each dollar you have will be worth a quarter after he's done printing money. The thing that hurts the most though...is the only thing that made this possible is that everyone hated Bush so much, they couldn't help but vote for Obama. The difference between guns and everything else you own is that the 1 and only reason guns were made was to kill things, whereas nothing else you own is, also why you comparing them to subs is invalid, a gun is designed to kill, that is its one and only purpose, I know of no one who has been killed with a sub.

You make a decent point, however because hunters don't NEED anything remotely close to an automatic weapon, we don't NEED them... Therefore I am fine with banning them.

I think bans are wrong, but I also think owning guns to protect yourself from the government is wrong or maybe just stupid. If the gov comes knocking on your door asking for you to surrender your weapon you **** sure better. One guy can have all the guns in the world and as soon as the military shows up at your doorstep you just became target practice.

the right to own guns is in the constitution...the moment the constitution is not followed anymore is when the gov will start turning into china...the only thing protecting your rights is the constitution

I myself own an AR-15 as part of my 40+ collection of guns. I go to the range regularly and have fun while i am there. just because people dont use speakers as weapons doesnt mean they cant be used in that manner. i could easily throw one or drop one on your head and kill you. so by your logic since it can kill people it should be banned.

My guns have never killed anyone and they never will unless i am defending myself or my family. but if i ever needed to use them for protection i would not hesitate to use deadly force on anyone trying to harm me or my family. In Tn you have the right to use deadly force if you feel that your life is threatened and many have done so.

People on here are talking about using AR-15's for mass murder. Please tell me one time someone has ran into a mall or anywhere and starting shooting people with an "assault" weapon and they killed more than a few people...a few people is not mass murder and could easily be done with a pistol. If i were going to be in a gun fight where the enemy was closer than about 50 yards i would take a pistol over a rifle any day because it is easier to conceal and maneuver.

A few people have been talking about the gov or police trying to take guns away from law abiding citizens. If that day ever came i would hope that every gun owning person laugh at them and defend their right to own guns to the death if it came to that...i sure would
