testing caps.

Dose anyone no of a better way to test a cap. w/o hooking it up. other then useing a volt metter to see if it holds a chrage? any ideas anyone?

when you have it all installed and ready to go, take the fuse out of the main power wire, and stick a test light inbetween the battery and the power wire. If the cap is good, the light will slowly dim, letting you know when its charged. If after a few minutes the light doesnt dim, then the cap is bad
