Jacob, I am absolutely amazed! you seriously got over 150 with a stock NS. I don't know what to say. If you don't mind sharing what are the specs on the box, and what freq. were you using?

I am still in shock.

Tune is in the low 40s and it peaks at 50 Hz in the Jeep.
I do listen to it any time I'm driving the Jeep - it does have a nice peak but is not burp only by any means.

Really....hmm....how are these musically Jac? Can a single spider take 2000 RMS?

Our "stock" suspension is 3 spiders - I usually don't build them any softer than that. With a longer coil and our cooling option 2000 RMS has not presented any issues for customers. The shorter coil is a bit "louder" on burps but I suggest the longer coil for higher daily RMS power.

50 Hz is the peak of the Jeep.

As I said above the box is LITTLE at about 2.4 cubes, tuned to the low 40s. It is smoothed out ALOT, fully resined inside and with curved corners and whatnot.

I seriously would have never thought a stock nightshade would have gone above 150, I mean mid 140's is impressive, but 150 with one sub that retails for just over $500= a win for the end user, with the bonus of it sounding nice on music also, unlike some of the compitition

I'm hoping to test our NS-X prototype in the Jeep soon (next level up from the Nightshade that we are working on).

I will try to be as "apples to apples" as I can and build it with 3 spiders at first.
