Which is louder?

you aren't going to get loud unless you work with your custom designs/install. like what kind of box you are going to use and where the subs and port face. Your design makes the biggest difference in your setup, incomparison to your equipment.

Dayton, Ohio..eh?..

what would you suggest?

right now i plan on putting them in a 3.9 cf box where the subs are going to be facing the hood of my trunk and the 2 vents as well. there is 1 vent under each sub.

well for those subs. that wouldn't be that bad. i heard that someone with the subs of that exact same power. the perfect set up for it would be 4 cubes of airspace and port tuned to 34hz. depending on your car. usually car trunks are better with subs and port facing the trunk. but in an SUV it would be more ideal to have the subs up and port facing the back. but so your setup u were thinkin about now would be good enough.

edit: i'd check ur manufacturer or the manual and see what they think the type of box you should get to have optimum performance for your subs first.

I told you man.....SRs....and you didn't believe me? Jk. But foreal, SRs.

This has been answered in the forums a while back ago....for me. so just search.

Trust me though, after you've had them for a while.....you're gonna want louder:)
