TECH? Do you think this is a problem waiting to happen?

I found a autotek mean machine 900.2 for sale. It was previously broken then went to be fixed. When the owner got it back he saw that one of the caps was leaking so he took it back to where it was fixed.

They took the amp into the back of the shop and came out 15 minutes later saying it is fine. The owner then installed it and says it works.

Now does this sound like the problem is fixed or just band-aided and waiting to break?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

thanks

i wouldnt get it, i had a amp repaired and it still didnt work and he said it was fine then sent me a diff amp that was the same re 35.1 to ampman revo but it wouldnt work right sometimes and then died and bought another amp and it didnt work and send it to the ocmpany and the owner said it worked fine, but didnt work for me. i ended up find a sweet deal on my current amp and its been working fine for almost a year

I'd personally never buy a used amp. It's just one of those things I don't trust used. This of course goes double for an amp that has been broken once already.

if you can find someone whom you trust, then buying a used amp is no big deal. like many people on here, they sell there amps alll the time, and are not trying to rip anyone off. alot of people usually sell good products. but in your case i wouldnt buy it.
