Tc10 Oem

they come with screws, and yea the magnet is heavy and deep, id double baffle for sure...

i forgot about those screws. my tc1k 8 came with em too. theyre hex head.

should i screws the first baffle to the box then glue the second on? or would the glue by itself be enough..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

ive never had to double baffle.

Man I want one of these so bad...by the time I get the money though they may be all gone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Glue should be enough although i used 4 screws.

Sub sounds GREAT. .7 cubed sealed box. Cant believe the box is that small.

true. i remember i did a stress test with titebond II on some mdf. the wood broke before the glue joint did.

box will be done today, sub comes in tomorrow. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif !

itll be .66xxcuft before sub. im thinking of picking up some polyfill just incase.

now my amp still has to get here lol. i will however put it to a xenon 600.1 just to see how it sounds

I have mine in a .6 cubed sealed box in the trunk of a sedan. I have around 750 watts rms going to it. It sounds nice although I think that I am going to put something inside the box to take it down to around .45 or .5 cubes to see how it sounds. Right now it seems to be more of a low end monster and I would like a tad bit more kick and less boom which some of this could be the acoutstic response of my car. It could probably take some more watts but I am stuck at two ohms and my amp is suited for 1 ohm like many. I still have the 12 inch TC 3K in a ported box if I get the need to reall get loud since that sub wires down to around .5 ohms. I like the overall sub and the way it sounds but like I said I think that .45 cubes would be a good overall size.

mine came today.

pics will be taken tonight. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

x2 i have mine in a .65cu ft built by James (he does really great work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif ) Mine was barely moving at 800w and I think i pushed it up to 1100 and it sounds really great for a small sealed box. I was goign to get vids and pics for you guys but I have no camera unless you guys want camera phone quality.. The sub really moves and sounds awesome

The lightning audio gasket is better than the plain old one imo.Get some cell phone vid, most people are used to that.

heck, video is video

i dont like the lighting gasket fot the same reason that i dont like the 4hp's with the eclipse cones.. dont like the fact it looks like they are just using old parts layin around (and on the eclipse i dont like the foam surround either) but i guess that IS what they are doing..
