Just to put my 2cents in. I have a pr in my focus .8cft with PR each. PR are a huge help in tuning these subs. Just invert the PR and keep adding mass untill the tuning freq is where you want it. Mine are set at 28hz. Been driving them with a HK802. Big big amp and its not even touching their limits. They can really soak up some power. As for them only being 10s, well you would have to here them to appreciat that thier only 10s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif . I can't wait to get these installed, I pretty much wanna surprise people when they see that I only have 1 10" in a really small box. I'm just worried it might not get loud enough for me.

I might have a couple boots that will fit if you guys want one.

If the top plate was black it wouldve blended better. The crinkle basket with milled alum dont really compliment eachother

finally got the amp in and hooked up...i just threw it in there for now,i couldnt wait any longer. its sitting on my back seat, sounds great though.

This is for anyone who got this and put it in a sealed enclosure. Did you double baffle ? I didn't realize how heavy these subs are. I am putting mine in a .6 sealed enclosure and wondering if i should have it double baffled. Thanks ahead of time for the input.

Edit : By reading thorough this thread it looks like double baffle is the way to go. Thanks.

Its layering 2 pieces of wood on top of each other to create a thicker mounting surface

Supa C is correct.

When you have a large box, especially when you are dealing with high power applications, a poorly designed box will flex when the sub starts thumpin', so most people will add a double baffle, and sometimes they will use wood or metal rods connected to opposite sides of the inside of the box, i'm not sure what exactly they are called or if there is even a name for them.

Has anyone ran an OEM 10" with PR yet? If so what size enclosure and how does it sound?
