TC10 OEM + PR Set-up.

Wow that setup looks nice. I think you might have wanted to let them both break in for a bit because the cones are so stiff. Sorry to see that but TC is usually cool about replacing things.

yeah james warned me about the break in on the PR too it was really stiff but i was too excited ahahah we'll see i know some heavy duty glue will fix it but a replacement would be awesome.

heh learn from our mistakes right?

i think playing it that hard with the PR inverted was the mistake, i would imagine it should be able to handle playing anything. but i could be wrong.
yup.. it sure was //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif live and learn right? we all make mistakes

I think it looks better with the PR inverted and of course that adds deebeez. I wouldn't think having it inverted would be an issue but I could be wrong.
lol... thats what i thought too.. cause i mean everyone inverts subs.. but it looks like we learn something new here..

heres the rest of my set up if anyone cares:

i took the grills of for the pics so dont think anything funny. I just need to get the MDF rings that james made for me in and do the big 3. and I think i'll be set for a while.

Nice gear. Pretty close to my setup. I almost went with the US Amps Merlin series too but I forgot how broke I was, so old school MTX Thunder series is what I went with.

A few thing to note about PR's, typically we recommend two which then splits the excursion load and secondly if you don't use a high pass filter you can risk the pr. Unlike air in a port, the pr can break! The 12" PR's do a bit better because they have 10" spiders which limit closer to the surrounds limits.

What we'll do is replace your PR and send you a second one so you wont do this again. Run both at the same time, so cut out another whole in your box and make sure the two PR's are opposite and put the driver in the new hole. Also in about 1 cubic foot with the 10" PR, you can run it with no weights and its about 32Hz tuning. With two PR's it will be a higher tuning. If you added any weight on that PR in over 1 cubic foot, you'll probably be down in the 20's for tuning.
