The rec. sealed enclosure used to be 1.3cuft but they found at 0.8cuft there was no difference, so in this case, smaller is better.

They also say you need to have TONS of port area, which means a big *** box if you are porting.

Sooo you think a TC3000 with ~700wrms ported would be louder than my current L7 on ~700wrms.

I'm not sure, Kickers are pretty efficient subs.

No...the Kickers I've seen can get quite loud with not very much power.

so anyways my good friend has a 3000 and i have an l7 both ported off the same amp. His will get very, very low and is in a bigger box then mine is. Mine is prob louder and more punchy but does not get low one bit.

Both are off a 2000w brutus.

The TC definitely has a clean sound to it. It's not 100% SQ, but that's not what it was meant to be. If I was to compare it to an IDMAX, I would say the IDMAX has better transient response (punchier) but the TC3000 destroys the IDMAX as far a lows go.

Compared to an Avalanche, the TC3K gets just as low but sounds 200% cleaner. IMO the Avalanche sounds like poop, but maybe it was my enclosure/install.

This is what I wanted too know.

I could get another 12" L7 and get a bxi-2006d to send each L7 850wrms each.

OR

I could get a TC-3000 and Use the 1500d which is actually 980wrms @ 1ohm (rated @ 1500wrms @ 1ohm, how bad is that? lol)

this is funny, I liked the older Kicker subs, the new stuff from overseas sucks butt.

Tc Subs are awesome even the 1000 or 2000 series is awesome.

Oh Yes.

And I'm going to have to disagree with the Kicker Comment. For $130, I've never heard any sub louder or that's sustained what I've put it through, ever. I love my L7, and might be adding a second. But this TC-3000 is giving me Second Thoughts. I just hate the VC wiring Configs.
