TC SOunds HAS LOS T THERE MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I have to say is that Tc sounds are some good peeps and I guess they got to do what they got to do-
I kinda agree with you, but i'd have to say were a some good people. its seems as if new management might have changed the culture there and it no more dealing with heather for transaction and thilo and kyle to technical issues, they're following their leader. Thats just my opinion from what i've seen and heard their over the past few weeks. They quality stuff it would be a shame for this not to work, but I hope there a method to the madness and the prices change in the near future

Platinum? They better be made of gold for that price. $900. for a ten inch sub? Wow... I could have a 18" btl or 2 for that price.
Are you refering to the IS-101 HT sub and at $900 is by no means high priced in the high-end home market. Which it appears is their market for it. The high-end home guys will drop $900 on it. These are the same people with the cash flow to buy things like Martin Logins ect. So for those guys spending atleast $2500 each and up for mains $900 is a drop in the bucket. That TC OEM will probably kick the hell out of 90% of the home sub/HT stuff on the market.IMO There is a market for everything.

I hope TC brings the prices back down for us car audio guys. A little price raise is ok but this is way out in left field. Not sure who this new guy is might have to call just to have a little fun with him.LOL

Sundownz summed it up good in his post though about these changes.

Things are changing-JL headed to Crutchfield, TC trying to entire the mainstream market. Wonder whats next Hopefully Zapco, ARC, Audison ect. can hold out from going to online sales. When JL goes to authorized online sales, Tweeter and others closing down stores that tells you something about the current situation of the car audio market.

i doubt its going to change.

someone money hungry is now leading the bunch.

before their prices were more than reasonable, and i would have been more than willing to spend then money for their subs.

but now a minimum of $330 for a ****ing 8"?

they might get lucky because they have produced for many companies in the past, bigger names, so it may push them along when word gets around that they're essentially the same.

however, when it comes down to the general car audio field, especially the people on the forums and the like. ESPECIALLY their forum which im sure a few people from here were there as well. they immediately lost a large part of their consumer basis by increasing their prices so much.

Considering what I'd think to be 75%+ of their sales come from people who are extremely into car audio, and not the stupid kids who shop at best buy who dont know the difference ohm loads make.

considering they had to be making some profit with their old prices. now to think of what their profit margin is? thats insane.

previously selling the 8" for slightly over $100 they had to be atleast clearing $50, atleast one would think. but now if on the same basis, the subs have not changed? close to $300 of profit? greedy ****ers.

All of you can kiss my mutha****in *** TC sucks my ball sack!!!! You all are a ****in bunch of ****in noob *** retards... I got some walmart woofers and a VR amp and that shit will **** all of your ***** *** TC TP TPPPPP TEEPEE bullshit tha **** up!!!!!!

funny how soundsplinter prices are staying the same. so as far as people trying to sell thier tc shit at high prices...dont forget about SS.

I wonder where you get this estimate? I mean, are you privy to their total unit sales per year, including OEM stuff? I doubt it.

Seriously, think about it...

They've done manufacturing for other folks for decades. They have had contracts with MAJOR players in the audio market. The only people we know of who are buying them online (as TC Sounds, not as some other brand) are the ones essentially on the various car audio forums... so I'd say prolly a few hundred people to a few thousand at absolute max. Heck, if you looked at their forums, they weren't even all that busy.

I'm not saying your totally wrong, as I don't know, but I seriously doubt you've got the background info to spout off numbers like that. I dunno, though, maybe you do.

Care to share why you hold that opinion?

Neat. its not really worthy of discussion.. seeing as how you guys (most of you, at least) cant seem to figure out that online sales (although increasing) are still a small portion of a company's profits. They reach MUCH wider this way. do you REALLY think they are going to be that much at a dealer? no. they may be slightly more expensive than they are now, but chalk that up to the price of the middleman:( and it will actually be a good thing for those of you that constantly complain/***** about their customer service... deal with the dealer, not them:) just my $.02:*******:

first person to offer up $15k can have both my 15" 5400 and my 15" 5200 just PM me haha....does anyone know the exact cost on the 5400 and the 5200 now? i didnt see them posted over there...and failed to miss them in this thread if posted...

i was told the lms5400 18 was $2999

but thats msrp so i know it will be less at the dealer

if u guys did ur homework..the eclipse tipro 18 msrp was that much but the actual price was around $1600 at the dealer....
