TC Sounds = DEAD?

partsexpress has to do something for you unless there is something on there website about the special warrenty...
Agreed. I run a retail business and as far as I know, there are consumer protection laws in every state where you can't stick the customer with a product. Unless there is gross negligence or abuse of the product. I usually give an in-store credit (which I can't afford), unless the customer is a total idiot. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif You should be entitled to a refund or at least better service, since it is a $900 item.

Not looking good. Ideally someoene who knows how to run a business will hire Thilo to design their woofers and you can get good products from a company that'll support them.
That would be a great idea, I wonder why he hasn't done that. I'm sure someone must of offered him something along those lines when he had a couple of his patents up for sale. (I want to say Scott bought the basket patent, look at the AA SMD subs, also they sold their huge gauss machine I think).

Anyways regardless of all that ****, I want my woofer fixed asap. If parts express doesn't get in touch with me today with a solution I am going to be really pissed off, more so considering I've spent several thousand dollars at that place the over the last year.

Why would Thilo work for someone else and give them all his designs/ideas, when he clearly is able to use them himself to screw other people over? You tink Thilo is having a hard time putting food on his table? I doubt it.

Yes, Fi bought the basket patents from TC/AP in that bankruptcy sale a few years ago. I dont know who bought their gauss machine.

I read the title, possible TC Sounds out of business, then I read the OP, LMS Ultra with a failed glue joint... and then I had to go back and check dates because I assumed this was a thread from a few years ago. Seems Thilo didnt learn a damn thing from his previous mistakes, neither in terms of business management, of how to glue his freakin subs together properly.
i assumed it was an old thread to.... this is just sad.

It's really sad especially since the product is great, what on earth is wrong with Thilo & associates? I hate to judge people and jump to conclusions- but you would think after the first bankruptcy one would learn proper business ethics and morals. I think its safe to assume Thilo and the crew just pulled another vanishing act after they made their lump sum of cash from parts express. I might be COMPLETELY wrong and look like a moron right now, but all signs lead to the worst. PE received their last shipment of woofers from TC several months ago, and I was told directly from a PE representative they have also lost all contact with TC.

As it stands now, be weary of buying any new TC products from PE. (unless you dont give a **** about warranty or customer service)

Seems weird that PE wouldn't give you a refund or exchange for a product that you just bought? If the coil is not cooked and the cone isn't smashed in then it is a defective product. I've never had problems with PE and I buy stuff from them quite a bit, but then again I haven't bought anything Audiopulse yet. Post some pics of the damage.

I'm sure the package is insured so see if you can claim shipping damage as a last resort, that is only if you haven't thrown away the box and everything yet.
