Agreed. I run a retail business and as far as I know, there are consumer protection laws in every state where you can't stick the customer with a product. Unless there is gross negligence or abuse of the product. I usually give an in-store credit (which I can't afford), unless the customer is a total idiot. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif You should be entitled to a refund or at least better service, since it is a $900 item.partsexpress has to do something for you unless there is something on there website about the special warrenty...
That would be a great idea, I wonder why he hasn't done that. I'm sure someone must of offered him something along those lines when he had a couple of his patents up for sale. (I want to say Scott bought the basket patent, look at the AA SMD subs, also they sold their huge gauss machine I think). Not looking good. Ideally someoene who knows how to run a business will hire Thilo to design their woofers and you can get good products from a company that'll support them.
i assumed it was an old thread to.... this is just sad.I read the title, possible TC Sounds out of business, then I read the OP, LMS Ultra with a failed glue joint... and then I had to go back and check dates because I assumed this was a thread from a few years ago. Seems Thilo didnt learn a damn thing from his previous mistakes, neither in terms of business management, of how to glue his freakin subs together properly.
