taramps clipping

Aight.
I have another q for you... I am using the LC-1 bass knob and it goes from -8 to +8. Should I be having it +8 or can that cause clipping of the HU signal?
The LC-1 can't amplify the signal (assuming we're talking about the same LC-1, the thing that goes on the RCA cables). It just lets you reduce the signal that the HU would normally send the amp.

That being said, turn it up all the way before setting your gains. That way you can adjust it to your liking on the fly and even at "max" it shouldn't be clipping (provided you set the gains right).
