taking of deadener?

Take off the old deadener. Use a heat gun, knife, and mineral spirits.
lol that solves it right there i guess.... the rear deck is barely covered and i don't think imma do the trunk so it won't be that hard. but okay.

Only thing I would be worried about it vertical surfaces. The added weight of the 80 mil may peel the old crap stuff off, creating a cluster to clean up and a waste of deadener. On floors or rear decks it would be ok, but doors would require removal of the old crap.
don't have any on the doors. just on the trunk and rear deck

yeah wish i would have found this stuff first before cheeping out and buying the other crap for 20 bucks. could have put that towards some b stock

 
Don't stack deadener. It needs to have direct contact to the surface it's deadening or all it's doing is deadening the deadener.
