lol that solves it right there i guess.... the rear deck is barely covered and i don't think imma do the trunk so it won't be that hard. but okay.Take off the old deadener. Use a heat gun, knife, and mineral spirits.

don't have any on the doors. just on the trunk and rear deckOnly thing I would be worried about it vertical surfaces. The added weight of the 80 mil may peel the old crap stuff off, creating a cluster to clean up and a waste of deadener. On floors or rear decks it would be ok, but doors would require removal of the old crap.
