Just purhased the '77 F-250 that is in my sig. Wanting to put 2 10s in there behind the seats. Also it says the doors accept either 5 1/4" or 6 1/2". Wanting something to play Rock, Country, and the occasional rap beats. Help me out here.

Is it really hard to go listen to speakers and decide what you want for it?

Only thing I can say from your vague post is, use sealed boxes since you want to listen to rock with the subs. Since you didn't say if you were going to amp the door speakers or anything else it's hard to say.

first off spend the money u want to put into the stereo on fixing up the truck. put a new lift on it kuz those track bars in the rear are weak.

i agree. also you probably want to think about a headunit? that truck has to use a shit ton of gas.

the truck gets about 5 mpg. 600hp 460. The track bar is fine for now. I already have a new suspension waiting to go on. 12" front springs, 6" rear springs with 6" shackles, 2 shocks per corner, and new traction bars.

I already have a nice alpine head unit. I'm wanting to spend no more than $500 for everything. This includes wiring, speakers, subs, amp for subs, and wiring kit. Also needs to include a box. Should I really amp the door speakers?

I have $2500 from my sale of my motorcycle. I'm putting $500 into the system(if it requires it) and the $2000 is going into the truck.

500 wont get you very far a decent 4 channel amp some crystal coax in kicks and 2 kicker crv 10's would do it justice
