Is it safe buying amps and sub off ebay?

ive gotten a lot of my car audio stuff off ebay, and at great prices to, everything brand new in the box, unwrapped, ed nine.1, stinger wires, distro, alpine changer, etc... everything 100% brand new still wrapped, and A LOT cheaper...

I think ebay has a policy now, if you get something that doesnt work you can send it back within like 30 days and get all your money back, unless they state there is something wrong with it on the auction

There is no such policy in effect. All sellers offer different return options. There is a money back guarantee that you can purchase for a small fee. But I've never seen it work.

So basically, just read reviews and feedback on whoever you want to purchase the item from and make the safe choice.

I bought my amp and sub off ebay from a store called Stereo 2 Go. They're not the absolute cheapest on ebay but still a ton cheaper than retail. They responded quickly to my emails and provided a tracking number. The package arrived on time and everything was BNIB as promised. Very good service. Other stores to look into on ebay: Sonic Electronix(also have an off ebay online store), KnuKonceptz Wiring(also have an off ebay online store),Finest Deals and a few others. Try to find someone with a 99.X rating. Indo audio has a 98.6 or something close to that but they receieve many complaints from buyers and on this board.

Everything in my sig came from Ebay //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

Just do your research and use paypal.

search hard, read everything and you will be fine. My suggestion to get cheap but safe stuff online would be to try onlinecarstereo.com or millionbuy.com. I have used both of them without any problems. I haven't tried buying any car stereo gear off ebay but it is usually safe.

If feedback checks out, etc, then you should be fine.

FYI, if the place youre considering buying from on ebay has an online store, look there. I know ikesound (scala1 on ebay) usually has lower prices at their online store than they do on ebay, I guess to make up for listing/final value fees etc.
