Trying to figure out wiring and what all I need. Im going to be running right around 800-1000 watts maybe more. My biggest concern is electrical system problems from pulling to much current. I realize vehicles differ but whats the average wattage at which you need to start looking at extra batteries and what not?

Im looking at a few amps that are capable of over 1000 watts more like 1500. Would I just turn the gain down to use less power?

What kind of power can 4 gauge handle? Would I be better off doing 0 and getting a block that goes to 4 gauge for the amp?

We'll what car??? Usually 1000rms and under your ok with a little system 4ga wire good bat up front and big 3... 0guage good to run though if you can afford... Easy to upgrade in the future if you decide..

Well Im still looking. I just sold my truck last week and have just been buying some audio stuff so when I get my car I can dive right in. Im looking at a used Pontiac Grand prix or chevy impala. So either the 3100,3400, or 3800. motor

Im wondering if I should keep it at around 800 watts. Im contemplating about doing a second battery and running 0 gauge. I didnt plan on spending this much lol.

Ive got a gift card to farm and fleet for 75 dollars. How would these batteries work out?

Ones 850 CCA and the other is 950. Id opt for the 950. But the question is will these basic batteries work in this kind of application?
