System seems to be getting quiter.

i think i am becoming immune to loud noise. my system doesn't seem that loud anymore. when i first get in it does for a few seconds until my ears adjust. although i know it is because i cant hear myself screaming in it when its playing. i have polk db212-2 subs in the polk box. are these subs quite?

step 1: remove for a month

step 2: go without bass

step 3: reinstall

system will be louder to you.
