System Progress -- 56k watch out!

I haven't done much since my last picture round. I was working on my girlfriends car the past two days... it is getting:

- Audax 5.25" Coaxials up front

- Dayton ND20FB-4 REAR-MOUNT 3/4" Tweeters up front (5 khz 6 dB passive crossover)

* I told her it's a bad idea... but she says she wants more treble up front! She gets what she wants this time.

- Tang-Band 2" Full Range in back (1 khz 6dB passive crossover)

* She likes rear fill... can't tell em' anything!

- Sundown Audio SAX-100.4 Prototype

- Sundown Audio SAE-1000D Prototype

- Stereo Integrity BM 12" Subwoofer (sealed)

* I wanted to do a 4th order or ported... but it's not working out with the ability to easily access the spare tire in the event I'm not around to remove the box for her.

The head unit is a very low-end JVC unit that I took out of my Civic when I got it. Of course I'm a big fan of JVC so I expect it to do well for her //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It's all going in a 1996 Mustang that I hate... I've been working on it since I met her *laughs*

Civic_21_Roof_Deadener.jpg

* Roof Deadening nearly done. Two layers Damplifier with Aluminum tape on all of the seams. I would like to put either Edead V4 on top of that or Second Skin Rattle Pad if the Edead V4 is too thick -- pending some test fitting.

Civic_22_Hatch_Floor_Taped.jpg

* I got all of those pesky seams taped on the floor. No more butyl material on my pants when I sit in there for a while. Edead is bad to squish out around the seams when you walk / work on it for a while.

Civic_23_Batteries1.jpg

* The upcoming rear battery pair. Large DEKA Intimidator 1000 CA deep cycle and a large 94-DL Duralast 1000 CA regular starting battery. As mentioned earlier I already had the Duralast so I'm using it until it goes out on me.

Civic_24_Batteries2.jpg

* Another battery shot. That DEKA battery had a shipping weight of 68 pounds. Very massive beast indeed. I highly recommend remy_battery on e-bay. They used the injection expanding foam type packing around the battery and it arrived in absolutely flawless condition. Any other packing method just won't cut it and they went the extra mile! I will do business with them again whenever I need another large battery!

You're really going all out on this one.
How many sq ft do you think your using of total deadener?
I've bought:

90 ft^2 Edead V1SE^2

25 ft^2 Peel & Seal

40 ft^2 Damplifier

30 ft^2 Edead V4 Teklite

1 Gallon Edead V3 Liquid

6 cans expanding foam so far

1 roll thick aluminum tape so far

2 rolls thin aluminum tape so far

So... quite a bit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I'll be getting more stuff before it's over with. So it's at 155 ft^2 so far... probably around 200 - 250 ft^2 of mat material before it's done with... plus all of the other materials.

dude 4 all that u should have put a layer of concreteand u would be good to go

80
*laughs*

Unfortunatly that would be alot heavier than what I've done and my poor little 1.5L engine would no longer be able to move the car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif As it is I already plan to supercharge it once all of the gear is in there just so I don't get killed merging onto the highway!
