System not putting out a signal

Well i hooked up my system the other day and my amp powers on and i was getting no sound. So i think its the rca's. So i get brand new rca's run and installed then I hook it up and turn it on and the system works. Then I unhook the subs and leave the system. I come back and try to hook it up the EXACT same way and it doesnt work. No sound whatsoever is coming out of the subs??????????Ive isntalled many systems before but i cant figure this one out. The deck is somewhat of a cheapie pioneer that i bought for 60. Thanks

just like in your other thread. check the rca's on the back of the HU, and make sure they are connected. and make sure you didnt run them through the amps, rca out. make sure its the rca input.

checked. The only thing left i guess is the hu itself, you think getting a new one would be out of the question?

ehh might as well im getting tired of this real quick. I dont know how it started working then i unhooked it and then it doesn't, I checked all fuses,wiring,etc. really not sure what it could be. This was by no means a rushed install???

Did you maybe bump something on the amps and set it to highpass instead of lowpass so you're cutting out your signal now?

Oh, is your sub a dual voice coil? If so, is one of the voice coils wired backwards? I did that once, made me feel stupid. Maybe someone could learn from my stupidity At least it only took me 20 minutes to figure it out, haha. If one of the coils is backwards then the coils will cancel out.

Could you try a different sub or amp in the setup for testing?

possibly but how would it work the first time if they were wired incorrecty? I dont think it would work it all wouldnt it?
