System not loud enough

my single W10GTi running on only about 520ish WRMS is loud enuf for me...but alright...

which would give 400 rms to each sub and leave me room to upgrade and i heard the audiobahn was underrated and only put out 350 or something in a benchmark test thing.

That would be OVERRATED, if it was underrated it would give MORE power....You might keep an eye on the classifieds, every so often youll see a brutus 1500 in there for right around your price range.....Id take that over the Abahn amp anyday.

yes just set your gains correctly

I took my seats out of my Galant one day to do some sound deadening. I happen to go out to the store and man the bass was sooo much louder and deeper. I had to readjust my settings because I couldn't hear any words.

If your seat doesn't fold down, then your system may actually be loud but not getting to the cabin area.

Wait a minute; I think I know what you’re talking about. Before you sell anything try this, my single ’10 Infinity hits hard, I can’t image dual ’12 not rattling your teeth. If you have a LPF option on your H/U try this.

Set it to 80 (or what ever your lowest setting is)

Set your amp to 85

Set your gain at the 3rd dot

Play with the bass boost a little

When I left my Alpine’s LPF to “flat” which what was suggested to me my sub sounded weak. I turned up the gains, bass boost, and the LPF on the amp but it didn’t really help. Then I started screwing around with the LPF on the Alpine and BOOOM! Now I can feel that single ’10 and it sounds great. Good luck!

I had the same problem with a Infinity 1230w. I just don't think they work well in a sealed enclosure. I don't want to sacrifice the cargo room to go with a ported box, so I went with 2 MA Audio 120XEs. The system sounds 1000x better now.
