system install wonder....?

so today i was finishing up the install in my truck this is my equipment

HU: Clarion CZ702

Mids&Highs amp:RF Punch 500x

comp set: JBL MS62c

Sub amp: RF power 1001bd

sub: Dayton HO 12

1/0 ofc wire into KNU distro to 4 gauge cca for amps.

1/0 ofc big 3

stinger volt meter wired up to the sub amp.

My problem is that once i connected the neg battery terminal amps and volt meter turned on... but not the HU. once i turn the key into acc the HU turns on. but the whole time everyhting else is on.. they all are hooked up to the same remote wire. WHY DID EVERYTHING BUT HEAD UNIT POWER ON!?!?!?! i am bewildered by this. please chime in fellow community

What do you mean they are all hooked to the same remote?

Are you using the same remote as the actual headunit or the remote wire provided by the H/U

well the thing is apparently when my old HU was installed the idiots who installed it CUT my stock harness so now all i have is 2 wires. a red for power, and a blue for remote turn on. both amps and volt meter and HU are all connected together to the remote turn on wire. the single wire splits into 4 different places.
