I currently have a 110a alternator with 2 yellow tops 1 up front one in the back. They are about 5 years old. no big 3 done and im running ab vfl 200.1 and alpine 5 channel amp for my mids highs. Right now I get voltage drop to 11.9 lowest at full tilt for a song. I am thinking the batteries arent that good anymore but what size altetnator would you go with? 240 or 270? I am gonna buy 1 100ah battery for the rear. Can I get away with big 3 and 2 big batteries on the 110a alt?

My idle is turned up to 800 bc the car is tuned

i would get the bigger alt. and when you replace those yellow tops get good amg batterys. the batterys you have are not the best for car audio. right now i have 1 under my hood and its going to get replaced soon...

just remember you have to make power ( alts make power, the batterys only store that power if they can )

Well singer alternator is the only one who makes it for my car. He said to pass the pcm bc thats how my alt works he has designed his alt to internally regular at 14.8 voltage or I can get an external regulator. I dont use any stock wires and run to 12v ignition and from alt to battery. Does this sound right? What size alt is good for 4k rms?
