System install help

ok guys i hooked up my system tonight. and everything gets power, but the sub barely moves, like theres almost no power getting to it. until i turn the volume all the way up, then it starts to go. the sub is a cadence cvlw 12-4 and amp is a cadence fx102. my rcas are hooked up the Rear audio out in the back of my HU. its grounded got power but im just stumped any help?

did you set the gain right? wire your subs to the right impedance?

its a 2 channel amp and i wired it bridged and followd the manuals instructions on what to set the knobs at

yes. it has an sub out too, in the back. but i didnt think i could use that. what do i hook that up to? the rca wires?

ok i know what your talkin about but, they are the same color out of the back of the HU, so does it matter which rca goes into them?

definitly wire your subs rca's to the sub pre out

The subwoofer RCA preamp outputs on your HU aren't differentiated by color as to which is for the left channel and which is for the right channel?

That's odd. What kind of HU are we talking about here?

But to directly answer your question as this is for sub usage it shouldn't make a difference.
