Anyways, it's been running good for a month or so. I tuned the amp by following the gain setting guides on teh website. Used a digital meter, and play at a much lower volume then what I tuned it to. It worked fine for about a month then the other day the subs starting going in and out, then yesterday they completely shut off and now the amp is stuck in protection mode. I'm sure it's not over heating and just checked my fuses, and wiring.

When the system was running I would get a lot of dimming and the volt meter went to the beat in the car. The battery is less than a year old, and this is in a 94 thunderbird.

Any suggestions? I'ma go triple check my ground in a second.

Amp powered on again today, it seems that if I turn it up to loud it'll shut off. I haven't changed the settings and have been using this setup for a month without problems though. What could be going on?

make sure your not puting a lower impedance load on your amp.

Amp says it can do one ohn and that's what they are wired to. It worked for a month like that =\

your haveing a voltage problem, do the big in 1/0 guage and see if that makes it go away. if not you might have to get a new battery or alternator.
