system in a convertible, subs. worth it?

yes it is, im currently gathering everything for my system. i have a conv stang //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

it depends on ur sub and how much room u have.

i honestly wouldnt go any cheap brands ie lanzar boss pyle sony etc etc. go for higher end model subs

I have a 9kv.2 in a 77 MGB conv. and it sounds good. Sounds better with the top up, get's kinda drowned out when driving with the top down, but you can still feel it.

is it worth putting subs in a convertible? i would think all the sound would just escape and it wouldnt sound any good... how about every body elses opinion?

huh uh.....well not where i live.....ive seen convertable tops get cut for a sony cd player.....

Yes it is! I have a 2002 Mustang convertable. I have 5x7 mb Quart in doors 5x7Infinity in rear on a Soundstreamlil wonder amp. I have a 12 inch RF p3 in a sealed box pushed by a 1000 Alpine and it sounds great. You do lose some bass so maybe go ported. You will be happy.
