around here if its any louder than being heard outside your car, its a ticket.. new sound ordinance law here in town.. my sister got pulled over in my moms completely stock expedition with everything stock system wise..

my buddy got a fine, well actually jail time (30 days) cause he couldnt fork over the insanley high $1000 fine they have in my town, all he had was a cd player and stock speakers, no subes. Keep the music down.

I like my mute button...use it all the time when I pass cops. Never had a problem...well except once when I was at the gas station and there was a cop fueling up a few cars over....I kind of knew him so he just *****ed at me...asked me if I thought everyone wanted to hear my music...I said I don't know maybe sarcastically and I sure don't want to hear this crappy gas station pop they force me to listen to so whats the difference...told me to turn it down...I went from 25 to 21 on the volume and kept pumping my gas.... Yeah I agree, the noise ordanances are getting out of hand but thats the pigs for ya...
