system for fiend help

OK, I have a friend who has decided on getting a system but knows little about car audio. He says he wants to be loud but has a budget The budget is to stay under $400.00 with the subs only. Here is what I had in mind.

2 12" Kicker L7's

2 12" Kicker L 5's

2 12" 3v2's jl audio

Can not remeber price of shockers, mabey 2 12" SHOCKERS.

I dont like audio bahn. How much of a difference is bettween the 3 sets of subs. please help thanks.

My friends just got 2 12'' Resonant Engineering SeXXX's for under 400. That is also an idea

I have two Kicker 12 L7's and they are ridiculously loud with my Crossfire VR 1000D amp. If loud is what your friend wants, the L7's will definitely suffice. If good sound is what your friend wants, might want to look elsewhere. These subs shake my hands off the steering wheel, but they don't sound good doing it.
