system for a 99 miata

im new to this forum and to auto electronics. I want something other than the stock system for my miata. Id rather not spend anymore than 500$. Id like to get some new door speakers(theres only 2) and some subwoofers. Any suggestions on the setup and which speakers, amp, and subs to buy would be greatly appreciated.

I forget what size you have in the doors, but you should check out a 3 channel amp, that could be the cheapest set up, but 500 is a really tight budget, but we can reccomend some things, Kicker has a 3channel, thats not to expensive, unless look into a 4 channel amp, like the soundstream on millionbuy.com, the Rubicon 4 channel, and maybe look into just a single sub, maybe even a single 8" and components is what I might lean towards
