System Figured Out, Feedback Plz

Being i dont exactly have the $$$ to do another Full JL system or XXX system to my likings... and seeing the net provides decent deal, some with warranty some without, i decided on my final combo. I want feed Back and alternate idea's before i place my order so here it goes.

2-12 AlphaSonik PSW812J's which ive heard good things about

Sensitivity: 92 dB

RMS Power Range : 900 Watts

Impedance: Dual 2 Ohm

Low Frequency response: 28 Hz

High Frequency Response: 500 Hz

135 oz. Double Stack Magnet

Dual 2 ohm 2 1/2" Voice Coils

8-Gauge Lug-Lock Input and Output Terminals

1- Soundstream PCA3500D

RMS Power Ratings: 1800 Watts x 1 Channel @ 4 Ohms

2500 Watts x 1 Channel @ 2 Ohms

3500 Watts x 1 Channel @ 4 Ohms (says 4, but i think typo and should be @ 1ohms)

probably 2g wiring all over.

And a Cap of some sort, maybe the soundstream 2farad until i have the $$$ to put a higher amp alternator and extra battery.................

Now with all this said, i plan on a Ported box, as for size.... i dont know what size, let alont how big i can fit. Last 2 systems were sealed. So box size and Hz tune ideas would be great -Joe

why not? this is why im askin for feed back. My answer for now is, through people ive talked to, this will hit hard as sh**, but will run me about Half of what itd cost to do my full JL or XXX system. THis is just for fun, somethin that hits hard and wont break the bank.

What's your budget?

I'm guessing that for the money you have in the setup you mentioned earlier, you could get a lot nicer gear.

Go 1/0 on the wiring, and do the "Big 3" instead of a cap.

Why do you want a full JL or XXX system? They're good companies and everything but way to overpriced if you ask me and probably a lot of other people here. You'll be happy with this setup and definatly need the battery and alt rather than a cap

Id like JL because ive had 2 JL systems and love them, they hit super hard. My budget id like to keep under about $1600-$2000... so opinions? I want to throw together something that slams like hell, thats has longevity (sp?) and wont run me too much for now....

Those subs arent that bad, here is a pic of my team mate having two of the 15's in his ranger doing over 153 db on the termlab

They can be made loud.

Never will figure adding caps. The Two designers even say its a waste of money.
