i have two ten inch boston acoustics pro 10.54LF they are a single 4 ohm voice coil.... i am running with a older generation... chrome.. xtant 1000watt amp.... is there any way i can get these 2 subs at 1 ohm with this amp? . i know i can go 500 @ 2 ohms but i would like to get to 1 ohm.... also what do you think these subs will hit.... they call for a .5 cu ft in a civic coupe.... should i get any eq's or anything.... i wantt o get the most i can from these subs

No, with only two svc you can only wire it to 2ohms. You would need 4 svc to get to 1ohm if wired in parallel. I don't know what you would hit since I don't compete and don't tend to meter my setups. If you looking for more sq then an equalizer would be great to keep everything nice and even but won't get you anymore spl if thats what your taking about.
