We never toned that car but had we I bet it broke close to a 50 at 31hz sundown equipment is no joke and sounds amazing when done right and not in the hands of regards.

so guys tell me if this kid is full of crap or not, he has 2 l7s on a kx1200 and the box isnt very big, i know squares need some serious box space to go at full potential. he says he hit "146-147" on the tl i mean if it was true he would have an exact number not a range. but anyway look at his vids. i got into a youtube arguement with him because he said he could break 150 and i HIGHLY doubted even 147 especially in the box he has it in. then he deleted my comments lol. feel free to dislike his vid hes a ******* idiot.

147 is very possible, I did a 142 under the seat with 2 10" L7s at 42hz .8cu. each lol. Moved to 1 Solo X 10 did a 146.4 on music with that beast. A 150, I doubt it, 146-147 very possible with enough box in the right vehicle.

yeah it barely shows the box but the box leaves extra room in the trunk of a cavelier so im guessing it isnt nearly big enough. then he said he did 146 on 400 watts. idk sounds like hes a ******* moron then he said that surface area doesnt matter only xmax

I did the 142 under the seat on 1 1200, the 146 on 1 Solo X on 1 1200. Doubled my power and gained almost nothing on the TL, just massacre my truck.

I also didn't like that we never saw the other side of that box (like the subs face and port) Cavaliers look as though it would be easy to be loud though. Window is angled just like a hatch, even though box is in that tiny trunk.

Yah it is a pretty cool story, and as I mentioned it sounds like **** but it loud, and I have since upgraded it to a 12w3 for more reliability(not as lound in current box). I didn't get into this to start a pissing match, but you actually brought the W7 into this based on your quote above. I mentioned that I though the W6 was a better solution instead of the W7 as it will play louder with les SQ. If you are selling the W7 as a HIGH SPL woofer you are not selling the right equipment to your customer, the W6 would be a better solution. As I mentioned in pervious post, I would love to see real world test results of any subwoofer vs. any other subwoofer before I would recommend it to another customer without previously installing one myself. I had said almost the same thing in all my post and yet I hear the same thing back that it is just better. Many post have in this section have mentioned different ways to get a great SPL number. Don't even try and challenge how long I have been doing this, I don't know you and you don't know me. Just becuase I have a different set of standards than you doesn't make me or anyone else inferior to you. I have taken this career seriously and I have a huge customer basis that loves my work. Last thing, even though the Solo X is not my cup of tea it is a BMF of a woofer and that changes the variables of the original post. This will be my last post in this section. P.S. Secretariat just called me and asked for you to stop beating her.

I gave my impressions based on my experience with the W7, DD3512 and I have owned a few W6's and W6v2's.

As you, I would love to see you post some REAL WORLD test results backing up your claims. Especially for that claimed 148xx on a w1v2 and 250 watts. (mic in the port dose not count)

And based on your responses, I am going to challenge how long you have been in the field.

Like I said, show me what JL has won in the real world in the last so many years in the comp. lanes. There is more than enough real world proof

and experience on this site to back up what most have been saying.

I havent seen JL take any records in SPL or SQ in the last few years.

It seems to me(and us here) that you are the guy that sells the over priced crap to the dumb, uninformed teenagers that just do not know any better.
