Once again it's "Yeah but"...I could be wrong but that sub should KILL your Pioneer... I think that sub would match up pretty good with your amp... if it's too much power, well... that's what the gains are for... LOL!

i'm sure it would even the 12's should if i have had the box but i can't do a 15 i have right at 15" maybe 15.5" high trunk and ported it take up the whole trunk, can't do that.. guess i'll have to wait til i get bigger box., just su*ks cause my sub would bottom out in a box 2cf or more so i'll have a box i can't use until i get a sub and gotta wait on the box oh well..

SA's dont need huge boxes to perform well. It will be an upgrade, but i feel like you will expect too much and feel like you wasted 200$

I don't have any pics but I built a 15.75" tall ported box for a 15" VVX a ways back... port/sub to the rear... it was 4 ft3 net and was 50 in2 port area if I remember correctly... it was not THAT big... it went into a Ford focus with a trunk not a hatch... was sounding good on a older HF 600 watt Nemesis...

well alot of these guys think i want 150db i don't., what i have is almost enough for me, 1 or 2 db increase would be nice but i just don't wanta spend $ and go down.. yeah i think sa would work ok in my airspace for a while i think main problem is port size., alpha probably work just fine only has like .08 sub disp.. on the sa u think it's worth running at 1 ohm to gain 200rms?

yeah but 200rms do that much? and in my box biggest thing it'll do is put my air velocity at 96fps or higher (depending on how much rise it has)

see i beat u to it.. but really no fair 1st thread 16 pages ya'll said my at amp won't strong enough to push any of the subs i was looking at and should go with highest db rating so i did, the pioneer... i've asked has anyone used this or that and either u or someone said it was crap or whatever and last thread was about ct sounds strato (only 1 left) i would have bought but 2 peeps said don't get., that jeff said it was good but no in my box so it got sold while i was doing that.. peeps say i don't take advise but i do, i got the hu and amp recommend (buy several peeps) and the sub with highest db rating that was and acceptable sub to me which is what i was told instead of looking at xmax and mms

yeah i told u i liked that box.. and i've told everyone i'm not going to make a box but they keep telling me to do something i can't do (i can't rebuild motor either, on a car forum i guess peeps are telling a guy u can do it man, it's easy and maybe if u done it before it is and have the tools) i can't cut straight and can't cut a circle trust me and to get to that point i gotta get wood here which is a pain even if they cut it to fit in my car but i'm not only one here that don't make boxes.. it's like 1/2 the guys here have stock in lowes or home depot or something.. as far as port 15 i need some trunk space..
