its an acura...acura=honda

all he needs for the bypass is an 820 ohm resistor and a screwdriver lol...its real easy to do

go back through it lulz
they also make a "plug and play" setup to bypass it. He just has to research the options and figure out which works best for him.

Yes but the new Civics lx dont have the same motor as your acura.

pretty much the same thing just with a glossy finish. ask Keep_hope_alive
I know what the differences are with them. I do still do installs lol.

For some, just popping things in are better then having to worry they are doing something right/wrong the whole time.

where do i get a 820 ohm resistor?
e-ghey

Even without clipping, on a better electrical using 1500 watts, I was never above 14v. With music you're not going to stay at 14.4v or without a really really good electrical. If you are still getting dimming, then your electrical still cannot support your amp. There should be NO dimming at all, if you're dimming, you are dropping below 12v which is BAD. You need a new alternator if you are still getting those problems with the big 3 plus another battery.
Op do not listen to this stupid *** post. You should NOT be dimming PERIOD. I ran 1500w on 140 amp alternator with 2 ga wiring (stock wiring) and i had no dimming problems. You need a better alternator. Your problems are not going to go away unless you address the issue by starting here.
That's funny because I never drop below 13v and in most cases 14v and I still get pretty bad dimming. Not everyones vehicles are the same. I'd also like to know how any part of my post was dumb? lol. I'd say it's pretty dumb to say you need to drop to 12v to get dimming.

God dam yall like to post a lot
Thanks for the heads up on Shurikens tony, never heard of those.
lol NP

so its an LX 8th gen? he should have a 90-105a alt from stock. he can get a 160-220 pretty resonibly priced .

but its still only 1kw. not too long ago we had the same issue in another thread because everyone wants people to toss money on an alt when they dont need it.

first he needs to check all his grounds and ish check voltage and get the alts output metered before he does a damn thing so he knows exactly what he is dealing with

Ya I was thinking of running a bank or Shurikens in the rear they are powerhouses for the price or so I've heard just not extremely reliable which is why I'd only run them in the rear. and tony are you MrAcuraLvr?
