alternator question

BIG 3....BIG 3....BIG 3.........A chain is only as strong as its weakest link........Right now the puny factory wire on your vehicle is that weak link..........Use wire at least the SAME size as your main power wire!!!!!!!..........Oh and fuse the one between the alternator and the battery unless it is SUPER SHORT....

This doesn't really do much especially if one of your cables come loose. Both the alt and the battery are putting out power, if the cable comes loose and the fuse pops you still have a live wire...

yeah i guess your right...unless it was fused at both ends........just strap it up tight and pray it never comes loose........lol
I crimp my big 3 wires to hell and wrap them up with an absurd amount of electrical tape because I don't want that **** going anywhere lol

I still think fusing that wire would protect it......UNLESS it popped out of the fuse holder....then you would have a live wire.......but with the fuse in place if it came loose on the alternator end it would POP fuse and kill wire...........if it came loose on the battery end it would POP fuse and kill the wire...........does that sound logical ........... I watched a youtube tutorial a while back by Maxxsonics and they fused the wire in this manner..........
