Is the voltage gauge stock or after market?

Stock but like I said I've hooked a DMM upto my batt and tested it shows the same.

Sorry bro bottom line get a batt or alt... Like we've said batts are bandaids for an alternator just how it's.

If you do some quick searching you find more info on the bypass. I'm on the phone right now so copy/paste ***** lol.

Where were you testing it at? I have yet to find a factory volt gauge that is 100% accurate to be honest. I'm not saying yours is not, but I would not trust anything that it shows you.
