Sufficient electrical?

I will be receiving a Sundown Sae-1000D tomorrow and was planning to run it on stock electrical @ 1 Ohm.

I will never use bb, and gains will probably be set with a DMM.

Oh, and is the dash knob a bb knob, or gain knob?

The car is a 96 Olds Aurora (140A alt)

well make sure u do the big3 and *** far as the knob some are different most are bass boost

You should be fine, if you do the big 3 you will be more than fine on a 140a alt. I was running 1+kw on my 130a alt and got very little dimming.

my buddy is running an saz-1500 @ .5 on stock alt(90?) and 2 yellow tops with some dimming

I know eventually down the road I will upgrade the electrical, but at the moment I'm just wanting something in and don't have the $$ for the upgrades.

just the big 3 you should be fine, if your experience some dimming just upgrade to a deep cycle battery

I ran 1200 watts and experienced slight dimming. (90 amp alt)
