Subwoofers DO put out power

one thing about th' pups for every 1 watt you put in...you get 1000+ watts out ....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
I would disagree, recent studies show that the pups are 187% efficient under normal conditions...you must be mistaken.

Nowhere did I say they made power. And in fact NOTHING makes power in this universe anymore, it is all energy conversions. All the energy in the universe was there from the start, it is now just converting the form that that energy takes.
I didnt quote you either.

Regardless it is very mis-leading.

How do you bass fish //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

crank up a pair of Funky Pups ....and watch them bishs float to the surface //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
I shoot them with a gun like my idol Dundee.

TO go a little deeper, power is energy expended over time. Energy can neither be created or destroyed, this is the conservation of energy also known as the first law of thermodynamics. One watt i 1 joule per second. You can exert the same energy over different times and you will get different amount of power. However in a sub, since 1000 watts is "absorbed" by the load that means that this power is expended in other forms 100%.

Someone is forgetting that energy is lost in the wires to the sub from whatever.

Subs do put out power, in the common term. It is a sort of generator, you can move the cone, rectify the output, and charge a capacitor as an example.

I am sure you know this but to clarify it wont be 1000 watts of output though.

Well, yes, there is a small amount of power put out as heat by the wires as well, but it is miniscule in comparison, on the order of 1-2 watts only.

Thats what my highschool teachers was tryin to teach me just wit other shit maybe if they used subwoofer i would have gotten it a hella lot fast and skipped class alot less ha And i love bass fishin but i go through subs often they keep falling apart after gettin wet ?? any ways to solve this ??

Yes it will be. Not 1000 watts of mechanical/acoustical power, over 99% of the power sent to a subwoofer is converted to heat, but it will still be 1000 watts of total power output.
