The Dayton reference HE is an excellent sounding sub. I haven’t tried the 15, but I’m using the 10 inch version and it’s very impressive.

I have the Rockford Fosgate Punch P1000x1bd amp. It does 1000x1 at 1ohm if that helps.​

You should consider buying a woofer with 3" voice coil to reliably hang with that much power. For around the same price of that Memphis you could own Adire Brahma which is well regarded for getting loud and good sounding.

If I'm going to buy a flat sub it better be an old-school PPI
