Subwoofer/Speaker Problem

When I plug my amp and woofer into my car, only the woofer works, the speakers inside my car and trunk dont work with/ or without a woofer and amp. Only the woofer produces a little bit of sound, which doesnt help me because its in the trunk. . I do not know what to do now. My stereo system is an Aftermarket Sony one. Any help is appreciated.

I just took my car out to be be fixed at a body shop. ( Not the audio system) , Anyways. I dont remember the names of anything, I will post a picture when I get the car back. ( I bought this car from the auction ) , It is a 2008 Chevy Cobalt, Sedan.
