1. Ditch the cap, it's doing more harm than good

2. Turn the gain on your amp down, it's probably clipping and overheating

u wrecked that setup!?..........impressive

Those kenwoods some my favorite overrated lil pieces of machinery.

Throw the cap into the trash to prevent you from looking like a fool to any serious car audio guys.

Turn bass boost to 0 or off

Learn how to set gains properly

Problem solved. Trouble not shot, but unshootable at this junction in time.

2 channel amp and single voice coil subs if bridged ,then there is your problem
