Hey all, So i am currently running 2 RE Audio SEX12D4 on a RE Audio DTS 1000.1d amp. One of the subs is blown and I was planning on getting it replaced tomorrow. This is what happened. Monday night i got back to school turn off amp and all and went to bed cause i had class in the morning. After my class i went to my car and turned up subs and they didnt come on at all. They were working perfectly fine the night before. I checked my amp and it had been in the sun all day and was extremely hot. I assumed it over heated and would turn back on later. A little while later after it had cooled down a bit it turned on (Not in Protect Mode). But the subs still wouldnt play. I tried seeing if the subs were blown even though there was no power being fed to them. My blown sub when i pushed in was all ratchet and scratchy but the sub that was fine as of monday night was perfectly normal. I tried making sure all the wires were connected fully and they all were. What could have happened? Im very inexperienced with car audio but i would like to have some idea of what the problem is so i can fix it my self or get it fixed properly tomorrow when i go to replace my other sub.
