Subwoofer help

So I have a 2004 Pontiac grand am gt and when I drive on a highway for about 30-45 mins my subs go out and i dont know why i check the connection and there all fine . what could it be? what can i do

ever put yer hand on the amp after it shuts off?? can it cook an egg?? I know pyle cant really put out that kind of wattage even if it was close to that amount and being that small of an amp the heat dissipation is poor at best.

yeah it gets pretty hot thanks for the help and the idea for cooking an egg
