I do not agree with 75% of this statement. LOL really I don't.

hahaha, i actually lulz'd that one...... kinda what was going through my head, too.

anyways, probably a mix of the the sub rubbing the floor, or the box being on the small side, and age did the surround in, those lod foam surrounds can get pretty flimsy over time... i may be interested in that old jl, once you are un-banned, lol. pm me. oh, and check the clearance on the sub once you have it in.

A little birdie told me that the threadstarter put in the diamond d3 and its **** stiff.. needs to loosen up so it can wang

hahaha, i can guess who banned the little birdie......... you can break it in with low frequency tone free-air. most break-in will happen in the first hour, but i just let them go over-night. something like 20watts, but the site should be able to tell you the exact settings for the sub.

I think op put the sub back in the enclosure and bolted the console in..
