Im trying to make a subwoofer but i want to use the strongest motors out there. I know that my old 2005 re audio xxx had a strong motor along with the FI BTL N3 series and N2 series, DD z series motr and incrimanator audio warden motors are also strong. Im thinking of using a 4 layer coil instead of a 8 layer butttttt im not so sure. I want a sq sub, dont think a sq sub cant get loud, im using 4-6 spiders and i want a paper cone. I want to be able to power it with a large amp and i want it to play in a larger box , also NO PINKY SIZE SURRPUNDS LIKE THE ZV4...

look if you want to see what out performs your over priced neo motor subs by simply using a microwave and a little knowledge. there's a note for the rest of youJL Audio W3 1.5'' one way XMAX 3'' full swing
There are a ton of 4th graders that have a much better grasp of the english language than you do. You also spew a ton of hate calling everyone else stupid but you never show any of this knowledge you say you have. Why don't you actually write up an article on how you go about making a 1/2" xmax sub do 3x that amount with this simple knowledge and a microwave. I'm sure it will get read for one reason or another. If not, then need to increase your working hours at mcdonald's and spend less time concentrating on telling us how stupid we are.

Nobody buy it from you yet? That's a hefty pricetag you got there
Didn't he say something about ways around our overpriced neo subs.?.? I am for certain I can get a very nice tc neo sub for less than that. Oh yeah I have a pair for under that and no that w3 will not compete with them.

Considering I paid $200 more for a Z, I think I got a better deal than his W3

Jeezus, would someone please delete this thread? Just wanted to drop in and increase my poast count, too. Might as well show some real equipment doing 3 inches.

Mmmm what is that 12" neo? If it is a neo axis then I have a pair of the 15's unless the cones are ti.

I've got 4 inches over here but that is to be expected... I used some general knowledge and a microwave

Ewwww, I'd hate to see what that looks like //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Nice. You get those from Phil? I missed my chance on those, lol.
I did. One of my favorite subs I have used. Impact is insane with them. Currently they are sitting idle though as my pair of Ti LMS 12's are currently top dog in the daily. You may remember one of those as well lol.

So sweet. Please keep me in mind if you think you might want to offload one of them?
So glad that beautiful Ti LMS is serving you well. I never would have let it go if it I hadn't come across a pair of 12" RL-s drivers.

I have some insane excursion lmt proto 12 sitting around that I haven't got to play with yet. I don't know if there are any others in the world.
