Subs - what's your favorite???

Hi all, quick question for those reading this...

What are your favorite(s) sub(s)? All around, or give me your opinion for SPL, SQ, anything else you can think of. Looking for some new ideas. I prefer 10" or 12".

My old time favorite are G&S Design Redline (the old school, paper cone) with the red surround and black basket, from about 10 years ago. Things weighed about 20-25 lbs a piece and flat out POUNDED. The only thing I have ever heard hit harder (from a single sub) is a Stroker.

Most recent favorite are the PPI Pro Flat Pistons. Looking to find something different though...

All opinions count, just interested in somone elses opinion...

My favorites are JL Audio for sure. The best systems I personally have ever heard had JL subs. They are real clean and hard hitting. I love em. I just wanna hear some W7s

What subs have you heard that ****! I have heard JL subs, I thought they were ok, but for the money, I would rather have a few others. I have owned:

Rockford Fosgate (10" Punch DVC's)

Kicker Competitions 12" (old school)

Kicker Free-Air 12's (old school)

JBL GT 12's

Polk Audio EX 10's

PPI Pro10

GS Designs Redline 12's (old school)

I have heard the likes of many of the cookie cutter subs, the Legacy, Pyramid, Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Pyle, and all the rest I am not thinking of. For the money, if you just want booms, that's cool. None of which impressed me however. I have not heard many of the subs like Diamond, Image Dynamics, Adire, MMATS, Earthquake. Some of these are what I am now interested in. I like the new Eclipse subs, if anyone has any others I am surely interested to hear about them. Now, as I get older, I like the SQ aspect much more than the SPL aspect. One 12" (even the right 10") are all I am looking for. Thanks for the opinions guys. Later...

For either 10s or 12s go with Adire Audio Brahma series. If you have any debate to this go to the site and look at the video. I've experienced it. They kick ***, and oh yeah JL's dont **** but arent anything compared to Brahma.

Thanks for the info...Does anyone have Soundstream subs? How do they sound? What about the Polk Momo's? Just curious. Has anyone heard the new GS Redlines, the chrome basket ones? Thanks...
