I got you now. Yes the XXX's can post some VERY VERY nice numbers, and i've heard/seen some that have surprised me greatly.

But when it comes to all out SPL the MT/BTL should easily take it....but with more power.

Daily application type power the XXX walks on alot of things

Also, the TC3000 should fit the bill if you can up your budget a tad. Personally, I would go with the Brahma though.

On this particular forum, you won't see much praise for either though...

XXX's take a hell of a lot of power to get moving, and MT's are fairly efficient drivers. They don't NEED a ton of power....but they can TAKE IT. hmmmm

Hopefully...I dunno, I don't really like Adire as a company much anymore. But I just can't turn away from the Brahma's.

If there anything like the MKII's then I will have 2 15's shortly

Oh, and both those drivers could have 1500-2000 on them (XXX and MT) to REALLY get moving how they should, and really could go a little less (1500) and not lose much at all.

close to a XXX, about a db away, but for $260 for a 12", dont think you can go wrong
